Guides

Useful Information. No Gatekeeping.

Most of what we would tell you in the first twenty minutes of a meeting is not a secret.

So we wrote it down.

These guides are for business owners who want to understand what AI actually changes — without having to sit through a webinar, fill out a form, or surrender their email address to a marketing automation system that will follow them until the heat death of the universe.

No sign-up. No gate. Just useful information.

Start With the Problem

Most businesses come to us with one of two questions:

“Why isn’t AI mentioning my business?”

If that’s the problem, start with What Is GEO? It explains what Generative Engine Optimization actually means, what AI systems need to understand about a business, and which parts of AI visibility you can actually influence.

Then read GEO vs. SEO. The terms get thrown around interchangeably, but they solve different problems. Understanding the difference makes it easier to decide where your effort is actually worth spending.

“Where could AI save us time?”

Start with AI Automation for Small Business.

The interesting question isn’t what AI can do. It can do an absurd amount of things. The useful question is which parts of your existing workflow are repetitive enough to hand to a machine without creating a bigger problem than the one you’re trying to solve.

That is where automation becomes useful.

What You’ll Find Here

The guides focus on practical questions rather than AI theory.

  • How AI assistants find and understand businesses
  • What GEO actually is — and what it isn’t
  • How GEO differs from traditional SEO
  • How to make a business easier for AI systems to understand and verify
  • What makes content easier for answer engines to use
  • Where small businesses can realistically use AI automation
  • What should stay with a person
  • When an existing tool is enough — and when custom software makes sense

No jargon for the sake of jargon. No predictions dressed up as facts. No recommendation that you need an AI solution simply because AI happens to be having a moment.

What These Guides Won’t Promise

They won’t tell you that following ten steps will make ChatGPT recommend you.

It won’t.

AI systems change constantly. They use different sources, weigh information differently and can produce different answers to the same question. Nobody outside those companies can guarantee that a particular business will appear in a particular answer.

Anyone promising otherwise is selling certainty they don’t have.

The same applies to automation. There is no universal list of five things every business should automate. The right opportunities depend on how your business actually works.

Why We’re Giving This Away

Because the general information shouldn’t require a sales conversation.

If you read these guides and decide you can handle the work yourself, that’s a perfectly good outcome. If they help you ask better questions of your existing developer, marketing agency or software provider, even better.

The paid work begins where general advice stops being useful: looking at your actual business, identifying what matters, and doing something about it.

The guides are free.

The expertise behind them isn’t hidden behind a form.

Or have us look at yours

The free AI visibility check applies all of this to your actual business and reports what it found.
