What we do

Custom Solutions For Common Problems

We fix the three most common drags on a small business's growth: Time, Visibility, and Creative — without the agency markup.

Red Robot is an AI consultancy in Franklin, Tennessee, serving businesses across Middle Tennessee and beyond. We audit how your business actually runs, build the automations and custom software that fix what we find, create websites that AI systems can read, and produce the content that carries all of it — high-end site and product imagery, video, animation, explainers, social ads, and OTT — all from the same shop working as hard as you do.

    Workflow Automation

Chances are your business runs on labor-intensive, repeated tasks that eat your team's time. Scheduling, follow-ups, data entry, reporting — hours a week, every week. We identify where your time is going and build the automation to take it back.

    GEO/AEO Websites

Search is changing. When someone asks an AI for a recommendation, it often draws on what it has already read rather than browsing fresh. Most small business websites are built for an older search strategy, not the growing number of AI tools people use today. We build sites that give search engines and AI systems clear, consistent information to read and verify. Structure, content, and schema — done right.

Workflow Automation

Less grinding. More growth.

Every business loses ground to slow, manual work — leads that cool off before anyone follows up, new customers who slip through a rough onboarding, quiet accounts that drift away before someone notices. Red Robot's Workflow Automation service finds those revenue-leaking gaps and builds systems that close them for you. We map how your work actually flows, spot the steps where deals stall and customers fall through, and connect your tools so the right action happens on its own — leads nurtured, clients onboarded, at-risk accounts flagged before they churn. The result is more hours back in your week, revenue you were quietly losing recovered, and a business that keeps customers and keeps growing without you touching every step. You get your time back and a system that keeps working long after we're done.

Start Your Workflow Audit How workflow automation works

Why it works

Faster Work, Fewer Errors, More Output

Every workflow automation follows the same simple path, made up of four basic steps: Trigger, Logic, Action, and Result.

It starts with a trigger — something that happens in your business — then logic decides what to do next, an action gets it done, and you're left with a result that saves time and keeps things moving.

Once you see how these four pieces fit together, it's easy to spot the everyday tasks in your business that could run on their own. Here's how each step works.

Stage 01

Where the work actually starts

Every workflow starts with a trigger — the moment that would normally need a person to notice and react. Most are events: a form gets filled out, an email lands in your inbox, a customer books a call. Some run on the clock — every Monday at 8 a.m., the first of the month, the day before an appointment — so the report, the invoices, or the reminder go out without anyone remembering to send them. And some you start yourself with a tap on the phone, a text, or a word in a chat, and the job is logged, assessed, and moving before you put down your phone.

Stage 02

Assess. Then Verify.

Once the trigger fires, the system decides what to do next using simple rules and a bit of AI. It reads the information that came in, sorts it, and figures out where it should go. Friction points like reading, reviewing, checking, and deciding — one single linear action at a time — are reduced, if not eliminated.

Stage 03

Working inside the tools you already use

Now the system actually does the work you'd normally handle by hand. It sends the right reply, updates your records, schedules the follow-up, or passes the task to the right person. Everything happens in seconds, and nothing slips through the cracks. The incoming request gets an instant, personalized response, the contact is logged in your CRM, and the next step is queued up — all without anyone lifting a finger.

Stage 04

Where the hours come back

The payoff is more work done in less time, with fewer things falling behind. Your team stays focused on the parts that need a human touch while the routine steps run quietly in the background. Customers get faster responses, and you get hours back every week. Every inquiry is answered right away, follow-ups don't slip through the cracks, and nothing gets lost in a busy inbox.

GEO/AEO Websites

Modern Sites, Built for Modern Search.

Search doesn't work the way it used to. People still type questions into Google, but more and more of them are asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI tools instead — and those tools decide which businesses to mention on their own. That's why GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) matter so much now: they help make sure your business shows up whether someone is searching the old way or asking an AI. Both come down to the basics done right — clear site structure and clean, crawlable code that search engines and AI tools can actually read and understand. For small to mid-sized businesses, that's the difference between being found and being skipped over. At Red Robot, we build every website optimized for GEO and AEO from the ground up, so you're visible across traditional search and AI search alike.

Anatomy

What Makes a Website Visible to AI?

We build AI-optimized sites that work smarter. From top to bottom, every section is optimized for SEO, AEO, and GEO — helping businesses rank higher, get noticed in AI results, and stand out from the competition.

  1. <head>

    Structured Data. Done Right.

Many small-business sites ship with structured data and canonical tags incomplete. We build them in from the start — markup that matches what the page visibly says, one canonical address per page — so search engines and AI systems get clear, consistent information to work with.

    • SEO
    • AEO
    • GEO
  2. Nav

    Literal Navigation

The words in your navigation tell people and machines what each page is and where it fits. Literal labels leave less to guess: Pricing beats marketing lingo like Fees, Plans or Value.

    • SEO
    • AEO
  3. Hero

    Answer Before They Ask

A strong first signal is a clear explanation of what you are, what you do, and where you operate. Your H1 carries the service and the city; the line beneath it defines the business in one plain, self-contained sentence. That opening is where search and AI systems first work out who you are.

    • SEO
    • AEO
    • GEO
  4. Trust strip

    Social Proof

Search and AI systems can cross-check what a business says about itself against what others say. When a named third party describes you the same way you do, your claim has support behind it — clearer, better-corroborated information for those systems to draw on.

    • GEO
  5. Features

    Copy Built to Be Quoted

Self-contained statements make important business information easier for search and AI systems to interpret and reuse accurately. State your business name and service simply and directly, so each sentence still makes sense on its own.

    • AEO
    • GEO
  6. Why choose us

    State Your Case

People often put a comparison to an assistant: "Who's the best for X?" A page that answers that plainly — clear criteria, your name and service stated together — gives a system something it can use as is. We build every site to answer the comparison questions customers actually ask.

    • AEO
    • GEO
  7. Reviews

    Optimized Reviews

Where appropriate, structured data can help search engines interpret review and rating information consistently — a rating becomes a number a machine can read rather than prose it has to interpret. It is only appropriate for genuine reviews, on the page where they are visible, and it cannot guarantee a ranking, a recommendation or an AI response. Invented ones are worse than none.

    • AEO
    • GEO
  8. FAQ

    FAQs in Answer Shape

Clear question-and-answer content gives answer engines a straightforward representation of common customer questions. Put the question as a heading, answer it completely in the first sentence, then add the detail — and mirror only the visible questions in FAQPage markup, never ones a visitor cannot see.

    • AEO
    • GEO
  9. Contact / CTA

    Visible Contacts

Your phone number is where a search becomes a customer — if a machine can read it. Many crawlers work from the HTML a page sends and do not reliably run scripts or read text inside images, so a number that lives only in a graphic, or appears only after a script runs, may never be picked up. Put it in plain text.

    • SEO
    • GEO
  10. Footer

    A Single Point of Contact

Search and AI systems can confirm a business by matching its details across the web — name, address, phone number. Identical everywhere, those details describe one clear business; mismatched, they read as fragments that might belong to several places, or to none.

Three tools. One job.

  • Search

    SEO

    Search Engine Optimization

SEO starts with making sure search engines can find and read your site: crawlable code, honest canonicals, a real sitemap, fast pages. Get those wrong and good content can go unseen; get them right and GEO and AEO have a foundation to build on. We build every site with these basics in place from day one.

  • Answers

    AEO

    Answer Engine Optimization

At Red Robot, we use AEO to describe the practice of structuring content so answer engines and AI assistants can more easily understand and use it. Where a search engine returns a list of links, an answer engine returns a response — and content that is specific, self-contained and easy to quote gives it better material to work from.

  • Generative

    GEO

    Generative Engine Optimization

At Red Robot, GEO means improving how clearly and consistently a business is represented across its website, search presence and the other trustworthy sources AI systems may draw on when generating answers. A business described consistently and credibly across the web gives those systems more to go on — though nobody can promise what a given system will say.

Content & Creative

Product is the story.

Great creative used to take crews, studios, and budgets most businesses couldn’t justify. AI changed that. Site and product imagery, video, animation, explainers, social ads, and streaming TV (OTT) spots that once took weeks and five-figure budgets now come together in days, for a fraction of the cost. Backed by 15+ years of broadcast and brand production experience, we deliver the creative that makes your product impossible to ignore.

How it works

Map. Measure. Multiply.

One conversation. We map your workflow and measure where you’re losing hours. Then we build the system that cuts the waste and multiplies your effort.

  1. { 01 }

    The Working Session

One working session is all it takes. We map your workflow end to end, expose the bottlenecks slowing you down, and surface the friction points quietly eating your time. What you keep are the hidden costs — the ones draining your profits before you ever see them.

    Recorded · one session
  2. { 02 }

    The Report

Step two is the report. You'll get a written breakdown of where your time actually goes, which tasks automation can take off your plate, and where your best room to grow sits — from tightening operations to outpacing competitors. Every finding is backed by real search and market signals, so nothing here is a guess. You walk away with a clear roadmap and the next steps to act on it.

    Written report
  3. { 03 }

    The Proposal

Step three is your proposal. You'll get a fixed-price plan that pinpoints at least five recoverable hours a week and shows exactly how automation and systems win them back — across onboarding, retention workflows, social media, and reputation management. If we can't find you five recoverable hours a week with a proposal to recover them, you don't pay for the audit.

    Guaranteed · Or Free
  4. { 04 }

    The Deployment

Step four is where it all goes live. We deploy whatever we build or recommend and train you on the new systems, so you can run them with confidence. From there, we keep things sharp with ongoing optimization, ad refreshes, and system tuning.

    Erin Hoover

    Poet and educator

    erinhooverpoet.com

    The brief

Erin Hoover came to us with a clear problem. Her third collection publishes in 2027, and she and her publisher agreed she had outgrown her old site — a template that couldn’t hold three books, a poet laureateship, and a decade of press. The result was a gap between how the site looked and the career it represented.

    What we built

We began with interviews, then rethought how her work should be structured before designing a single page: books, poems, press, and appearances, each given its own room. The architecture moves every path toward a single destination — the invitation form for readings, workshops, and classroom visits. And the site was built from the ground up for AI visibility, so her work surfaces whether someone searches her name directly or asks a broader question her writing answers.

    Matt’s Critter Care

    In-home pet sitting, Jacksonville, Florida

    mattscrittercare.com

    The brief

Matt was referred to us by another client and needed a site to promote and market his rapidly growing pet sitting business. Matt wanted a custom, mobile-first site that would be easily readable by AI, reflect his services as a pet sitter caring for domestic and exotic pets, and build immediate trust with visitors.

    What we built

We started with a study of Jacksonville pet owners, then built the type, color, and layout around what the business actually is — warm, careful, and consistent. The site opens with a scroll-driven stop-motion sequence of people holding the animals they love, designed mobile-first for users on the go, working through last minute plans. Credentials sit high on the page, and real clients speak beside photos of the pets they’re describing. Underneath, structured data describes his services and service area in a format AI assistants can read directly, so the site answers questions whether someone searches his name or just asks who to trust with their house key.

“This has made such an incredible impact to my business so far. A small investment has paid huge dividends and I’m glad I trusted my instincts to hire them. For the first time, I feel very little stress and have huge amounts of confidence that things are finally on the right track and I have Red Robot to thank! I highly recommend a consultation with Josh, he has completely changed the trajectory of my business.”

“To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about using an AI consultant…I figured I could do most everything on my own. I soon realized that it’s not as simple as just asking Claude. Having someone take over and spearhead the entire process was such a huge relief. I couldn’t be happier with the results and am shocked at how quickly I was getting hits.”

“With very little direction Josh was able to take a jumble of my ideas and needs and turn it into a well functioning and cohesive online platform that looks great, makes sense, and is easy to use. Thank you so much, Red Robot AI and thank you, Josh!”

“I'm so glad I found Red Robot AI, who created a sleek and highly intuitive author website for me in about a week. The designer, Josh, went back and forth with me to ensure my site was saying what I intended and delivering everything someone looking for my books would want to know. My new site works with algorithms and gets my work in front of readers, and it looks so much better than the clunky plug-and-play design that I had before. The people behind Red Robot AI have taste, aesthetics, and judgment; at the same time, they work quickly and are dedicated to getting things right.”

FAQ

Common Questions

The ones we get asked the most.

What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)?

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is the practice of improving how clearly and consistently a business is represented across its website, search presence, and the other trustworthy sources AI systems may draw on when generating an answer. When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity for a recommendation, clear and corroborated business information gives those systems more to work with. Red Robot AI, an AI consultancy in Franklin, Tennessee, builds GEO into every site it ships rather than bolting it on later.

What is Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)?

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is the practice of structuring content so answer engines and AI assistants can more easily understand and use it: the question stated plainly, a complete answer first, and the supporting detail after. Answer engines return one response instead of ten links, and specific, self-contained copy gives them better material to draw on. Red Robot AI writes and marks up every page so the answer is already in that shape.

What is the difference between SEO, AEO, and GEO?

SEO makes a site findable: crawlable code, honest canonicals, a real sitemap, pages that load fast. AEO makes an individual answer easy to understand and reuse. GEO makes the business itself clearly and consistently described across the web, so AI systems have better information to draw on when someone asks for a recommendation. SEO is the foundation the other two stand on, and skipping it means the rest may never get read. Red Robot AI builds all three into every website.

Why doesn't ChatGPT recommend my business?

Common reasons include: the site's content isn't readable to a crawler, the business details don't match across the web, or nothing outside the site corroborates what the site claims. AI systems can produce more reliable answers when business information is clear, consistent, accessible, and supported by trustworthy sources. Red Robot AI runs a free Fast Audit that shows which businesses AI assistants currently name in your category and city, and where your own information falls short.

What tasks can AI automate in a small business?

The repeated ones: scheduling, lead follow-up, client onboarding, data entry, invoice chasing, review requests, and recurring reporting. These cost hours every week and never get faster with practice. Red Robot AI maps where those hours go in a $900 recorded working session, then builds the automation that takes them back.

How much does an AI consultant cost?

AI consulting is usually priced one of three ways: an hourly rate, a fixed fee per project, or a monthly retainer. Red Robot AI publishes fixed prices instead. The Workflow Audit is $900 for one recorded session and a written report, credited in full toward implementation within 60 days. Implementation starts at $2,500 per project, quoted fixed before work begins.

How much does a website cost in Franklin, TN?

Red Robot AI builds websites for $1,000 to $3,000, quoted fixed before work starts. That covers design, copy, and the structure that makes a site readable to search engines and AI assistants. You own the code, content, domain, and hosting account outright. It is not a subscription you can never leave.

How do I choose an AI consultant?

Four things are worth checking before hiring anyone: whether the price is published or hidden behind a quote form, whether you own what gets built, whether the consultant deploys what they recommend or just hands over a report, and whether there is a stated guarantee you can hold them to. Red Robot AI publishes its prices, gives clients full ownership, installs and trains on everything it builds, and waives the audit fee if it can't find five recoverable hours a week.

What is a workflow audit?

A workflow audit is a structured review of how work actually moves through a business, run to find the repeated manual steps costing the most time. Red Robot AI's Workflow Audit is one recorded session for $900. You get a written report showing where the hours go, which tasks automation can take off your plate, and a fixed-price proposal for the work. Whatever the report recommends, Red Robot AI deploys and trains your team on. You are never handed a document and left to implement it.

What if a workflow audit doesn't find five hours of savings?

Then you don't pay. Red Robot AI's Workflow Audit is $900, and if the report can't show five recoverable hours a week along with a fixed-price proposal to recover them, the fee is waived. That is the whole risk on our side of the table, and it is why the audit comes first instead of a proposal.

Do I own my website if an agency builds it?

Not always. Some agencies build on a platform they control and bill monthly, which means the business is renting a site rather than owning one. Red Robot AI hands over the code, content, domain, and hosting account. If you leave, the entire site goes with you, and none of it depends on Red Robot AI continuing to exist.

Does Red Robot AI work outside Franklin, Tennessee?

Yes. Red Robot AI is based in Franklin and works with businesses across Middle Tennessee, including Brentwood, Nashville, Murfreesboro, Spring Hill, Columbia, Mount Juliet, and Hendersonville, and beyond. The Workflow Audit runs as a recorded working session, so distance is not the constraint it used to be. Local clients still get us in the room.
